Artist in Residence​

Art has long been part of the Scouting experience—from the Art merit badge to generations of artists who have helped shape its visual culture. The Artist in Residence program builds on that tradition by creating new opportunities for Scouts to encounter, explore, and make art. Hunt’s residency moves between the studio and the field, creating original works inspired by Scouting while engaging young people through collaborative projects, creative programs, and shared experiences. At its center is a simple idea: encouraging Scouts to see art not only as something to appreciate, but something they can participate in and pursue.
