Joshua Hunt is an American artist, museum professional, educator, and Eagle Scout whose work moves between painting, digital media, exhibition design, and historical interpretation.

Hunt studied art education at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and began his career teaching art in Wisconsin. His studio practice explores both intuitive and systematic approaches to color and image-making.

Alongside his work as an artist, Hunt has maintained a longstanding relationship with Scouting. His work has included national exhibitions, historical interpretation, community art projects, and paintings documenting the movement in his own time. He has served as Lead Exhibit Designer and Project Manager for major work at the National Scouting Museum and, in 2026, was named Scouting America’s Artist in Residence.
